Welcome to my Fitness Blog

Hello..... I am a man from Dallas, Texas (smile when you say that). Born and bred third generation and damn proud of it! I moved to Abu Dhabi, UAE in the Middle East on September 25, 2010 to start working on a major hospital project in downtown Abu Dhabi, the Sheikh Khalifa Medical City. Reason for this move was to have an adventure, make more money and try to pay off the debt of 3 children's education at Texas A&M... WHOOP!

I am married to Joy, the most wonderful woman in the world. Been so since 1980 that is 30 plus years. She is my love, my life, my everything. I have 3 wonderful successful children Jessica, Chelsea and Gregory.

This blog is way over due -- I was going to start it last year recording my new adventures in a new world. But I got busy and did not start until today September 1, 2011. It will be a blog to record the adventures and quirks of Abu Dhabi. Plus the blog will be a new motivation to me to get back in shape after nearly a year of sedentary life style. then our yard thank goodness Greg helped.........wheew! tired finished about 10:00 bath then bed GOOD NIGHT....

Friday Oh same ol same ol but got off work at 1:00 half a day Fridays love it ! then FUN FUN went to my mothers & cleaned her garage going to have a garage sale at my place.
SWEAT EAT RIGHT! work all day then home to collapse.

to....work....again...stairs up....push ups....Thursday donut day oh!..so 2 kolaches half the bun ..brought a couple of chicken breast...stairs down....home....some good food some TV & some exercise while watching some tube bed at 11:30.....

Walked to Back Yard had a blackened chicken/bacon sandwich double tomatoes, & lettuce gave the bun to da birds................

Joy cooked chicken on the stove with a pesto, lemon pepper mixture, spinach, pasta/cherry tomatoes small very small portion of the pasta.

The target weight is 200.0 butt............. like I have said before it will be hard to lose much more..........really tighten it up is the goal.

After Docs home for a piece o chicken & a tomatoe back to work.

Cooked some Steaks, Asparagus, & leftover mashed potatoes..........ride the bike to bed early

Great day................
Coffee 2 small muffins for breakfast
Little more Coffee (add a packet of equal & half & half) makes it oh so good.
Push ups 50 or 60 at the office with pod peeps Tiffany & Scott
ECO seminar at the office free pizza mmmmmm scraped the good stuff off ate it no dough Joe.
Home at 7:00 watched last 2 episode of Breaking Bad so funny. While I worked out (multi task master)
Ran/walked/kicked ..... MOVING & GROOVING .... in place for 60 minutes (got a great sweat going) plus 6 sets of 25 curls, & military press low weight .......... but enuff to say I am tired.
Remember got the clean bill of health so started this week to exercise more & more. Have to tighten it up.

Easter Sunday
A muffin & some coffee for breakfast
Went to church with the family. Then to Hal & Tracey's for Easter lunch.
Ate prime rib, honey glazed ham, broccoli, asparagus, salad, good food.
Oh have to go finish my Mom's yard. Greg went with so it wasn't to bad but still 3 hours sweat like a PIG.
Stopped got G a Gatorade & I drank a beer damn could not help myself but it sure was good.
Home at 8:00 eat some chicken, tomatoes. Bath then bed.
